Hey there!

Meet Lauren and Chris: two Tennessee natives currently living in Florida — that is, when they’re not off gallivanting.

Chris is a water baby, most content with sand between his toes or salty air filling the sails of his boat. He’s 25% financial wizard, three-quarters salty pirate, on an epic quest to roam the earth, witness the majestic, and revel in everything culinary and historic.

Lauren is a dreamer of dreams and proud fantasyland dweller with a heart equally devoted to the peace of lush mountains and the roar of Atlantic waves. She’s half creator-artist and half passionate pursuer of adventure — with a passport in her backpack and a camera on her hip.

When they’re not writing about themselves in the third person, these “two bees” can be found buzzing ‘round Walt Disney World, knitting in front of a beautifully adapted Jane Austen film (Lauren), or floating in the pool with a rum-laced drink (Chris).
